Each of these partnerships creates mutually-beneficial and sustainable energy value.
Two of 7G’s largest business partners are Alliance Pipeline and Aux Sable.
Alliance Pipeline transports natural gas through a 3,848-kilometre (2,391-mile) integrated Canadian and U.S. natural gas transmission pipeline system that collects gas in northeastern British Columbia and northwestern Alberta, running underground through Saskatchewan, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and terminating in Illinois, the heart of the U.S. Midwest. Alliance delivers more than 1.6 billion cubic feet per day of rich, natural gas to the Chicago market.
Seven Generations has contracted Alliance Pipeline to transport its growing liquids-rich natural gas to customers in the Chicago region over a multi-year contract with volume commitments starting in late 2015 at 250 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, and rising in increments to more than 500 million cubic feet per day.
Aux Sable is a North America midstream gas processing business that owns Aux Sable Liquid Products, a natural gas liquids extraction plant located at the south end of the Alliance Pipeline in Channahon, Illinois. Aux Sable extracts natural gas liquids – propane, butane and ethane – under contract for 7G and for sale to industrial customers. These fractionation agreements operate in parallel with the transportation commitments that 7G has on Alliance Pipeline.
