On Saturday, May 11, Seven Generations employees, along with friends and family members, covered a 13-kilometre stretch along Highway 40, just south of Grande Prairie. Hundreds of bags of garbage were collected by the volunteer group. 7G participates in the highway clean up on an annual basis to help preserve the environment in our operating area and to raise funds for local charities. For every kilometre that was cleaned, $100 was donated by Transportation Alberta. In total, the 7G volunteers raised $1,300. The funds will be donated to local charities chosen by the three youth volunteers of the group.
