#3Things4Neighbours Challenge

On July 23, our President & CEO, Marty Proctor, accepted the #3Things4Neighbours challenge. We would like to thank David Smith, CEO of Keyera, for his nomination. This social media campaign was started by a local business owner and philanthropist inspired by the kind acts done by neighbours during the Fort McMurray Wildfires and Calgary Flood, and has grown to include a number of other organizations and individuals. The challenge is simple: share 3 acts of kindness and challenge 4 other neighbours to do the same.

Watch the video to hear how we’ve supported our communities during COVID-19, and who we are nominating to join us in this challenge and keep the spirit of this campaign alive.

250 Employees, 750 Acts of Kindness

Part of the #3Things4Neighbours challenge is to pass the torch and nominate 4 other neighbours to take part in the campaign. In addition to nominating some of our longstanding business and community partners, we’re also asking our 250 7G employees to do 750 acts of kindness in our communities.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll share these kind acts and update you on what are employees are doing to make a positive impact in our communities. Check back on the Community Engagement section of our website, or follow us on Facebook and LinkedIn. You can also learn more about our COVID-19 response and how we’ve been supporting our community partners by visiting our response page.
