CALGARY, ALBERTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Seven Generations Energy Ltd. (TSX:VII) today filed on SEDAR an Amended and Restated Information Circular and Proxy Statement (the Amended Circular), which is also posted on 7G's website. The Amended Circular corrects errors in a table on page 39 summarizing Termination and Change of Control Benefits. The correct calculation of benefits is substantially lower than had been set forth in the Information Circular and Proxy Statement dated March 23, 2016 (the Initial Circular). The Amended Circular otherwise remains unchanged from the Initial Circular. The restated information in the Amended Circular is not considered material.
"We sincerely regret this error and we apologize for any misunderstanding this information may have caused our shareholders and stakeholders," said Pat Carlson, 7G's CEO.
